Children's Programs include:

• United Methodist Children’s Fellowship - We will start March 4th beginning at 5:00 pm and will be meeting in Rm. 103 the 1st-4th grade Sunday school classroom. We will have Bible Stories, Games, and a special snack each time we meet. Children Kindergarten -5th grade are welcome to attend. Come check it out.

• Children's Choir - Led by Betty Moss McGuirt, the Children's Choir helps in nurturing children in the Christian faith through music. Children, ages 4 years through 6th grade, participate in various musical activities, helping them learn Biblical stories of our faith.

• Children's Mission Projects - We help with monthly collections for Baskervill Food Pantry, The Angel Tree, and various other missions.

• Vacation Bible School - Will be held June 16-21 from 9 am-12 pm. Registration forms and more information is available below. 

• Christmas Programs - Christmas Musical Program and Dinner, and Special Mission Projects.

Vacation Bible School 2008

This year our children will have a great experience at "Beach Party: Surfin' Through The Scriptures"! They will get to learn about God through Bible stories, Crafts, Music, and this year we have a special Science station as well. Our Vacation Bible School will be held June 16-20th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. with a special service for our Vacation Bible School on June 22nd.

Children’s Sunday School

• Nursery - is available from 8:30 am until the end of the second service. A nursery may also be available for special occasions or services. We provide a safe and caring environment for newborns and young toddlers in the nursery on the first floor of the Education Building. Pagers are available in the event your child needs you.

• Every child of the church is invited to be a part of Sunday school each week. We bring the lessons to life through Exploring Faith which includes music, stories, crafts, and take-home sheets. We begin each Sunday morning at 10:00 in individual classrooms located in the Education Building. We have age group classes: preschool (three years through Kindergarten), younger elementary (first through fourth grades), and the Upper Room Sunday school class (fifth through seventh grade). 

Children's Church

Children’s Church is currently open to children of all ages. We are currently using Kids Own Worship curriculum which includes bible lessons, videos, and music. We can always use more smiling faces to help the younger children so if you are interested please call the church office.
