St. Paul's Waccamaw United Methodist Women - Covered Dish Supper
Tuesday, September 7, 2010, 6:30 pm - Berly Hall

Program: "ZOE Ministry - Giving Hope to Orphans in Africa"
Presented by: Jean Clemmons <Jean's Biography>

All ladies of the church are invited to come and bring
a small covered dish.
Beverages and dessert will be furnished.

Jean is a member of First UMC, Myrtle Beach. She is a past president of the Marion District United Methodist Women. She has been involved with ZOE Ministry and has a wonderful testimony to give about this ministry.

ZOE Ministry began in 2004 when Rev. Greg Jenks answered Christ’s call to reach out to the least of these through the witness of Amanda, a 15 year old girl who had traveled to Africa to work with children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. Read Amanda’s story. With the support of the North Carolina United Methodist Conference, Greg left the parish ministry to launch ZOE Ministry from his home in Clayton, North Carolina. Today, thousands of people have helped meet the needs of orphans and vulnerable children in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Kenya, and Rwanda through the work of ZOE Ministry. Learn More...

Join us for this special time of fellowship and inspiration.
